What is GHK-Cu?
GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide (glycyl-histidyl-lysine) first isolated from human plasma. Its concentration falls sharply with age, and the research field that grew around it is enormous: GHK-Cu modulates an estimated one-third of the human transcriptome in gene-profiling studies, with signature effects on collagen synthesis, extracellular-matrix remodelling, and antioxidant enzyme expression.
Most of the literature concentrates on skin — wound repair, photoaging, dermal thickness — which is why GHK-Cu anchors both cosmetic science and regenerative catalogues. It is also the copper component of our triple Glow blend.
