What is tesamorelin?
Tesamorelin is a stabilized analogue of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) with a trans-3-hexenoic acid modification that protects it from DPP-4 cleavage. That single change gives it far greater metabolic stability than native GHRH, which is why tesamorelin became the benchmark GHRH analogue in clinical literature — most notably in research on visceral adipose tissue.
